About Us
Stevenson Arts Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, founded in 2019. We support Bay Area artists by providing high quality space to display art.
The foundation also curates collaborative and socially relevant exhibitions in its own Miro Gallery San Jose. The organization is committed to cultural enrichment and the creation of a vibrant urban lifestyle in downtown San Jose.
Miro Gallery San Jose
Miro Gallery San Jose is located in the Ground Floor East Tower of Miro (181 East Santa Clara Street) in downtown San Jose. The Gallery provides a myriad of opportunities for local artists to discover and display creative and innovative artwork. Its diverse programs support our local artists and community.

The Art of Distortion

The Art of Distortion brings together works from several of artist Ema H. Sintamarian’s series, highlighting the connections between her different approaches, techniques, and visual explorations.
Together, her works reveal recurring concerns and unexpected affinities, expressed through intricate geometries, shifting perspectives, and saturated worlds that seem coherent at first glance. Poised between order and absurdity, control and chaos, the works invite viewers to reconsider how perception shapes what we take to be real, and to see distortion not as a departure from reality but as a new way of looking at it.
Thresholds of Memory
August 20 2026 – October 25 2026
In her latest exhibition, Thresholds of Memory, artist Namita Paul explores the emotional imprint of architecture and the ways constructed spaces shape our lives and become intertwined with personal identity. Her layered installations combine natural, painted, and dyed canvas with gold and silver leaf, textile adornments, small objects, and written words.
Through these materials, Paul brings art, architecture, and emotion into conversation, exploring the thresholds between past and present, life and death, fragility and resilience. Delicate yet enduring, the works invite viewers to reflect on longing, loss, memory, and the grace that persists through change.
